Changelogs. Almost all of my playthroughs are heavily companion-orientated, and it feels weird that only 1 companion will follow you at the start whenever you enter towns and villages. This mod hopes to change that by making it a configurable option. This mod can be safely added/removed from an existing save game.

So i found one companion with good trade skill (chagun the swift). i cant find any other good companion with good trade skill. i need a few more for caravans. Any tipps ? I don't think trade skill of NPCs affects caravans right now. I have a caravan with a spicevendor and one with a companion with 0 trade skill.

The easiest way to make friends with them though is to be at war with their faction. When you beat them in battle, let them go rather than take them prisoner.
